This public example uses inline notation $R_A = R_B$ for a symmetric load case.

For a simply supported span with a central point load $P$ , the reactions are:

R_A = R_B = \frac{P}{2}

The bending moment at a section $x$ from the left support is represented by the supported aligned form:

\begin{aligned} M(x) &= R_A x \\ &= \frac{P x}{2} \end{aligned}
